DAAD-Chat: Computer Science

In today`s increasingly global information society it makes perfect sense to earn a Computer Science degree abroad. In Germany with its long tradition of academic excellence international students can take advantage of a wide array of universities and universities of applied sciences, which offer various Bachelor and Master degrees of Computer Science. Are German CS degrees internationally recognized? Do I have to learn German or are there courses that are taught in English? What is the difference between a university and a university of applied sciences and which suits me best?
